Deposit Refund Policy
It is standard practice for us to ask you for a deposit to secure your reservation.
The exact amount will vary depending on which activity you are booking; as do the conditions of deposit refunds.
General refund policy
Please read the following carefully, and make sure that you understand. If you have any questions, please email us or use the contact form at the bottom of this page.
In all cases except for students signing up for e-Learning, our the refund policy is as follows:
If you cancel your booking with more than 48 hours notice, you are entitled to a full refund.
If you cancel your booking between 24 and 48 hours of the start date of your booking, you risk 50% of your deposit.
If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of the start date of your booking, you risk 100% of the deposit.
e-Learning deposits
If you have signed up for a course and we have offered/provided you with access to PADI’s online learning portal: e-Learning; then things are a little bit different.
Once we register you for eLearning you will receive an email from PADI.
You will forfeit 100% chance of a refund on your deposit once you open the email you receive from PADI.
If you leave the email un-opened then it is possible for us to reclaim it from you.
Note: in order to get the benefit of using e-Learning you will want to plan to use it for a few hours a day over several days before you start your course. Don’t delay unnecessarily!
If you do open the email, but then decide to cancel your course, all is not lost: You will still get to keep the PADI e-Learning, and can approach any PADI dive centre worldwide for the practical training.
It would be normal to expect some reduction on the course fees since you will already have e-Learning.
Re-scheduling your course
If you simply need to reschedule your course, then doing so with more than 48 hours notice incurs no penalty.
Changing your booking between 24 hours and 48 hours may incur a €25 penalty.
Changing your booking within 24 hours may incur a €50 penalty.
