Fit to Dive?
Before participaing in this activity you must review this medical questionnaire. If you answer ‘yes’ to any of these questions then you must consult with a doctor prior to diving, and seek written confirmation that you are fit to dive.
What comes next?
Once you have completed the PADI Discover Scuba Dive we will register you on PADI’s database so they know what you have achieved. This dive will automatically credit you with some experience towards the PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water Diver certification, which will apply for 12 months.

Try Dive from the shore
The try dive from the shore is available for anyone aged 10 and over.
Your try dive will begin with a detailed explanation from one of our experienced and qualified diving instructors. This briefing will outlining all of the basic safety aspects which you will need to consider to enjoy your dive.
You will be given a brief introduction to the equipment so that you’ll know what you will need to do underwater.
We will bring you to the local beach – Playa Las Vistas – where you will enter the water and practice a few basic diving skills. This will help you to become comfortable and familiar with the equipment. You will learn:
- How to clear water from your mask
- what to do if you get water from your regulator
- How to recover your regulator in the highly unlikely event that you should drop it from your mouth
After practising these exercises whilst still standing in the water, you will drop beneath the waves and practice these same skills again underwater. Once this is done you are ready to go!
Your instructor will escort you on a tour around the breakwater installed at this beach. This is a beautiful artificial reef and is home to a wide variety of local marine species. Your dive will last approximately 45 minutes, and you’ll dive to a depth of 6 metres..
From start to finish this experience will take approximately 3 hours.
